Self service copying/printing in the Local History Room is $.15 per black and white page.
Search online through 100+ years of local newspapers, yearbooks and other documents in the Digital Newspaper Archive. No library card required.
Please be aware that newspapers in the Digital Archive do not always contain all months in a particular year.
Allerton Public Library District uses HistoryPin to display its large collection of historical photographs.
Not all images are identified and information on any particular photograph is welcome. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with the online photograph title and any additional information that can be added to its description.
Allerton Public Library maintains a Local History Collection in the Max Hency Local History Room at the Library.
The Library collects photographs, maps, print materials and non-print materials (including oral histories) focusing on Piatt County, Illinois.
